An effort to crack open the U.S. Constitution and install new restraints on the federal government will return to the Nebraska Legislature next year.
State Sen. Laura Ebke of Crete says she’ll bring back a proposal for this state to join a call for a convention of states to consider constitutional amendments restricting federal spending and power, and limiting terms for federal officeholders.
