Real Taxpayers of Nebraska and LB 947
Ahead of today’s hearing on LB 947, we conducted an analysis to show what the bill would mean for our “Real Taxpayers of Nebraska.” The taxpayers profiled in the infographic are based on the tax data of real Nebraskans. As the infographic shows, the effect of LB 947’s tax changes would be a mix for our taxpayers. Some will see net tax reductions while others will see net tax increases. The largest tax savings, however, do go to the highest earners.
