Jo Giles named outreach director, Ross Wilcox joins OpenSky board

OpenSky is happy to announce that Jo Giles has been hired as our new outreach director and that Ross Wilcox of Lincoln has joined our board of directors.

Jo comes to OpenSky from Emspace Group, a communications strategy firm in Omaha. Prior to that, Jo was an award-winning media relations professional and journalist who worked in the public relations department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and as a television reporter/anchor for Omaha’s KPTM Fox 42 News.

Ross resides in Lincoln and is Vice-Chairman of Union Bank & Trust Co., where he previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer. He is a member and former chair of Bryan Heath System Board of Directors and he also is on the board of the Clinic With A Heart — a free healthcare clinic in Lincoln. Ross previously served on the boards of The Nature Conservancy, Nebraska Wesleyan University, Leadership Lincoln and the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. Ross was the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce’s board chair in 2000.
