Save the date for OpenSky’s Fall Policy Symposium on November 4th!
We’re excited to announce that we will host a Fall Policy Symposium on Wednesday, November 4th in Lincoln and we’d love to have you join us!
The symposium will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and feature a lunch keynote presentation by Michael Griffith, Senior Policy Analyst of the Education Commission of the States on how state education systems support school districts in meeting the needs of students in poverty.
Along with the keynote presentation, the symposium will include:
- An overview of Nebraska’s budget and tax system;
- Discussions about key tax and budget issues that face the state; and
- A session for legislative candidates directly after the lunch featuring members of OpenSky’s Legislative Alumni Advisory Committee.
