We’re excited to announce that Dr. Laurel Sariscsany has joined the OpenSky team as a policy analyst!

Laurel, pictured here, worked most recently as a postdoctoral research scientist at the Columbia University Population Research Center. She received her Ph.D. at the Columbia School of Social Work with a specialization in policy analysis. Her past research has focused on financial well-being, including an emphasis on safety net programs, the gender and racial wealth gap and the history of the 1919 lynching and riot in Omaha

OpenSky is hiring a policy and outreach intern to help coordinate meetings with other nonprofits, perform constituent outreach and craft messaging. We’re looking for a creative individual with strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
