The tax plan recently introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives is more than 400 pages long. Since its release, analysts have raised new questions and concerns about the plan almost daily. The tax plan introduced in the Senate also is hundreds of pages long and raises similar questions and concerns.
Despite this, Congress aims to pass major tax legislation by year’s end. We have serious concerns as to whether this is enough time for all of us, including lawmakers, to truly understand how the tax changes would affect our nation, our citizens and our economy. Read the full article online.
