A new poll indicates that most Nebraskans oppose a bill passed by the Legislature that creates tax credits for donations to private school scholarships.
In its report on the survey results, KLKN spoke with OpenSky Policy Institute Exective Director Dr. Rebecca Firestone, who noted examples in states with similar voucher programs that tax credits primarily benefited “the wealthiest households.”
