Registration open and schedule announced for OpenSky Fall Policy Symposium!
Registration is now open for OpenSky Policy Institute’s 2015 Fall Policy Symposium on Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nebraska Innovation Campus, 2021 Transformation Drive in Lincoln. Join OpenSky’s staff, past and present state legislators and others for presentations such as:
- A History of LB 775, Nebraska’s First Business Tax Incentive Program;
- The Ag Economy and Property Taxes;
- Cost-Effective Investments in Government — Lessons Learned;
- A Keynote Discussion of Education Funding Systems and Poverty; and
- A Panel Discussion with Former Lawmakers titled “What I Wish I’d Known as a Candidate for Legislature.”
Registration is $25 and includes lunch but is free for elected officials, legislative staff, OpenSky donors and members of the media.
