A looming property tax crisis over dollars for education in Nebraska has arrived. It yielded far more deep concerns and questions than answers this week in York.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mike Lucas was joined by Open Sky Policy Institute staffers Tiffany Seibert Joekel and Renee Fry in a presentation and discussion of educational funding with an audience of just under 100 school officials, farmers and others, including local state senators Curt Friesen of Henderson and Mark Kolterman from Seward.
